Agreement between User and the EFORCE Mobile Application
Thank you for choosing EFORCE Software. This privacy policy outlines how Intellichoice, Inc. DBA EFORCE Software collects, uses, and protects your information. By using our app, you consent to the practices described herein.
Informaiton Collection
Location Data:
The EFORCE Mobile App collects fine and coarse location data while in use and while running in the background for the purpose of displaying the user’s location on the dispatch map, and other related mapping functions.
Camera Access:
We require access to your device’s camera for the purpose of scanning barcodes such as those found on a vehicle’s registration, and camera functions found within the app.
Microphone Access:
In some versions of the EFORCE Mobile App, microphone access is requested for processing voice commands.
App Usage Data:
Usage data is logged solely for the purpose of troubleshooting issues and supporting the product. This data may include information about app functionality, performance, and errors encountered during use.
Data Usage and Sharing
Collection of a User’s Personal Information:
We do not collect, store, or process the personal information of app users for any purpose.
Data Transmission and Storage:
Information input by users is transmitted and stored securely. We adhere to the FBI CJIS Security Policy and other applicable State and Federal guidelines in partnership with the customer agency who purchased access to the application.
User Control
Access Control by Customer Agency:
User control is managed by the customer agency who purchased access to the EFORCE Mobile App. Access to app content is granted only upon successful entry of user credentials issued by the customer agency, in adherence with Federal, State and Local policies and regulations.
No user may access the content of the EFORCE Mobile Application without user credentials.
Security Measures
Security Measures:
EFORCE employs industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include but are not limited to encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.
Additional Compliance and Mobile Device Management:
Compliance with security regulations, including the use of mobile device management software, is the responsibility of the customer agency. They are required to purchase and implement any necessary software or hardware to ensure compliance with security guidelines.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
EFORCE reserves the right to update or modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or within the app. Users will be notified of any material changes to this policy.
